It was Sunday and my friend, Hooi Chien dated me to Gurney for lunch, shopping and talk craps of course. We stopped by Winter Warmers and decided to take our lunch there. This is the first time Ii went into Winter Warmers although i used to pass by this tea house. After viewing the menu, Hooi Chien ordered a cheese baked spaghetti for herself and we shared on a mix fruits tea. As my throat was not feeling well that day, I have to order something that is more suitble for my thraot. Thus, this made me end up with ordering a vegetable spaghetti.
My spaghetti is just ok.. May be it is not special enough for me so i did not finish it up. However, Hooi Chien's cheese baked spagetti was tasty. you can see her eating with such a temptating look. As you know.. Girls.. is very good in talk craps.. And of course, we girls fully showed our potential on this.. hahaha.. We chatted in the tea house for quite a long time. It is quite nice to chat with friends with some tea serve sometimes.. Gonna miss it ^^
After that, we started our window shopping by keep trying dresses. They were pretty but costy and hence we bought no dress. After walking out from the boutique house, Hooi Chien started to hunt for the things she want. Guess what? Her very first item is a ribbon. So, we found some and she bought 2 hair clips with ribbon on top and a hair strip with ribbon on it.. Argh.. Very 'Ribbons'.. Next, we search for butterflies. Hooi Chien wanted to buy hair clips with fancy butterfly on top and thus we stop by Maggie T. After choosing for quite awhile, she decided which 'butterflies' to buy. However, before we heading to the counter, I saw some rose earrings which my sister told me that they are actually quite nice, so me and Hooi Chien started to try up some. This made Hoi Chien into dilema as she didn't know whether she should choose butterflies or roses. At last, she made up her mind by picking the pink roses while i bought a pair of black one.
After buying things, it was 6 sth almost 7pm, so we planned to go home. On the way home, Hooi Chien said that she wanna pay a visit to my house and since i planned to treat her tiramisu cake, so i agreed to lead her there. For my surprise, my friends (ex-housemate, current coursemate and some best friends) were gathered at the door with party poopers on their hands. I were so worry that they will smack cream on my face and hair again, so i went out from my house and closed the door back. To assure that I will be very safe, i let Hooi Chien stand in front of me.. haha.. When i went up, mum was cooking to serve my friends and the foods for BBQ were all ready too.. Then, we started the celebration.
I wanna thanks for you guys who planning for the party (include cooking) and thanks mummy for doing all the cooking and washing.. And thanks to daddy and family to pakat with my friends as well.. lolz
The foods are too much and we couldn't finish all them. Anyway, the cake cutting ceremony must still on even there were a lot of foods left. After all the traditional procedure, we started to clean up before leaving. The party ended around 11+pm and i was appreciated that my friends stay up late even though they have assignments and go to work on the second day.
I'm the only one who can enjoy a special holiday due to deepavali ^^ Thanks to Intel as well.. haha
Unfortunately i got sick the day before my exact birthday. I still receive a cake from my boyfriend although we can't celebrate. He promised to celebrate it after i recovered from my illness. Thanks to him anyway, I am looking forward for the dinner ^^
